Vivid

I traveled to a no-mans-land. A land far from the noises of the day to day gamblings that the man of the current times has to involve in.

A land where the water was pristine, the richness of the soil was seeping in nurturing my body, the animals so calm and peaceful in their own habitat. For the first time I realized that I had nothing to offer, but just to be – one among them.

I walked the path less taken, all swampy and muddy, in my barefoot, listening to the chirping, buzzing and singing of the birds, insects and the bugs – I felt like an intruder.

Though the chillness of the forest penetrated my bones, I felt safe, warm and welcomed like never before. The deeper I entered and absorbed the essence of this space, the more healing it was.

I realized that I did not have to force myself to be that ancient tribal woman, I was naturally that. It took me back to the times I evolved from, so raw, vulnerable and serene.

I immediately knew that I would come here very often, so I built a small place for me to sleep in. Even though I knew I had nothing more to add to the serenity of what it naturally is, I decided to play my flute.

And then,

I was no more an intruder nor an outsider. The water, the breeze, the trees, the bees, the moon, the soil, the animals, the darkness, the music and me, all existed in one breathe, sinking into the blackness of the sky, falling into a deep sleep on an enchanted night  –  all in my vivid Imagination.
